Skallelujah by Jon_Evil
Skallelujah is a ska cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
There was a Mefi Music Challenge to cover this song, inspired by Hallelukulelejah (previously on the podcast). I’ll try to not go overboard with it, but I can’t make any promises.
Flesh & Bone by saulgoodman
Flesh & Bone is jangly electropop – atmospheric, and very 80’s, in a fun and dancy way.
The Gilded Cage by saulgoodman
It’s been a few months since we’ve seen saulgoodman & his band Tangemeenie here; they’re eclectic in style. The Gilded Cage is atmospheric, with lush guitars. It’s poppy, but melancholy.
FAIRWAY by NemesisVex
FAIRWAY is NemesisVex’s cover of a song from the Japanese pop band, SUPERCAR, all jangly guitars. The (translated) lyrics are enjoyably cryptic and contemplative.
Electroball by spiderwire
Electroball is some funky electronica, with guitar & synths.
Those squealing synths later in the song remind me of jake’s “Sock Patterns.”
